Ahead of the second cour of Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly, which begins airing on October 4, 2026, ILLIT, the group behind its opening theme "Swingin’ Magic," has sent a comment, the anime’s official website announced.
ILLIT described the song as packed with the rhythmic groove of new jack swing and a heart-fluttering excitement: a track that leaps out of everyday life and swings lightly across the line between dreams and reality, with a free, colorful mood as if under a spell. The members said they hope viewers will notice how the song and the anime work together, and asked fans to enjoy "Swingin’ Magic" along with the broadcast.
ILLIT is a five-member girl group, including two Japanese members, formed through the survival show R U Next?, which aired from June to September 2023. The group debuted in March 2024 with the mini album SUPER REAL ME, whose title track "Magnetic" set records for a K-pop debut song on several charts. In July, ILLIT released its second Japanese single, "I Got Your Back," whose title track, featuring JISOO and MOMOKA of HANA, reached No. 2 on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100.
