Tarusuke Shingaki will voice Hikaru Ooya in the anime Bless, the official website announced, along with a character PV for Ooya in which his voice is heard for the first time.

Shingaki said Ooya watches over the protagonist, Aia Udagawa, at times dazzled by her and at times frustrated, and that he wants to treasure the shifting emotional distance between the two in every moment. He said he would be happy if the anime can pass on what he felt so strongly in the original: the passion of chasing a dream, and the strange power of makeup to bring out a person's charm and make them smile.
