The manga series Megane, Tokidoki, Yankee-kun, serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend, is set to receive a TV anime adaptation in 2027. The announcement, posted on the series’ official site, unveiled two teaser visuals at once: a Tokimeki version and a Yankee version.
The Tokimeki visual places Momose, who is perpetually sent on other people’s errands, close beside Ichikura, a former delinquent. The Yankee visual adds Igarashi, Sakyo, Yachiyo and Yataro for a harder-edged group shot. Both carry the tagline “a romance with a delinquent is thrilling”.
A promotional video assembled from the two visuals was released alongside them. The announcement did not name a broadcaster, a studio, or any of the cast.
