The anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will celebrate its third anniversary with a special screening event for its second season. This event is set to take place on September 26, 2026, across nine theaters in Japan. Selected episodes from Season 2 will be presented in a special format. Following the screenings at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya, a stage greeting will be held, with live streaming to the eight other theaters.
Event Details and Cast
The screening will begin at 12:10 PM, featuring selected parts from episodes 29 through 38. Post-screening greetings will start at 2:30 PM. Five of the cast are listed to appear: Atsumi Tanezaki (Frieren), Kana Ichinose (Fern), Chiaki Kobayashi (Stark), Tarusuke Shingaki (Genau) and Reina Ueda (Methode). The official site notes that the line-up may change.
Ticket Information
Tickets go on sale from September 4, priced at 2,900 yen for TOHO Cinemas Hibiya and 2,200 yen at other venues showing the live stream. Attendees will receive a set of two special postcards as a commemorative gift. The official site frames the screening as a look back ahead of the third season, the Golden Land arc, which it says will air from October 2027.
